Raiders fall to Moose Jaw on Dan Hodgson Night

Nov 26, 2023 | 12:19 AM

The Prince Albert Raiders returned home to the Art Hauser Centre Saturday night and lost 6-3 to the Moose Jaw Warriors.

It was the first home game for the Raiders since returning from their lengthy American road trip. It was also a special night for the team as they honoured former Raider Dan Hodgson by raising his number 16 to the rafters.

The Raiders fell behind 3-0 and pulled to within 3-2 and 4-3, but ultimately fell short. NHL prospect Martin Rysavy had a hat trick for Moose Jaw.

The Raiders are now 2-3 against Moose Jaw this season and 13-11-0-2 on the year, while the Warriors improved to 14-10-0-1. The two teams will still meet three more times this season.

It’ll be a quick turnaround for the Raiders as they get set to host the Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday evening.

Hodgson becomes just the third player in Raiders history to have his number retired after Dave Manson and Mike Modano.
