SASKSOIL TO HOST FIRST CANADIAN SCREENING OF THE REGENERATIVE AG MOVIE “COMMON GROUND” ON NOVEMBER 8 IN SASKATOON

SaskSoil will be hosting the first Canadian Screening of ‘Common Ground’, the follow-up documentary of ‘Kiss the Ground’ (Netflix) and winner of the Tribeca Film Festival.

The screening and a post-event panel discussion will take place on November 8, 2023 at the Broadway Theatre in Saskatoon.

“This is an exciting opportunity for SaskSoil,” said Derek Axten, SaskSoil President. “We are thrilled to not only be hosting the screening but also a post-event panel consisting of Cody Straza, Mark Hoimyr, Rick Clark and myself. I encourage everyone who wants to learn more about regenerative agriculture and soil health in general to attend.”

Axten also noted that interest in the regenerative agriculture movement on the prairies is gaining momentum. “Following our screening in Saskatoon, the Manitoba Forage and Grassland Association will be holding a screening at their Regen Ag Conference on November 13-15 in Brandon, MB.

According to the movie’s website, ‘Common Ground’ provides hope for future generations with concrete was to fix a broken planetary system. The film features Rosario Dawson, Laura Dern, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Jason Momoa, Ian Somerhalder, Mark Hyman, Gabe Brown, Rick Clark and many others.
