The Prince Albert Raiders (7-4-0-1) are on the road again Wednesday night, this time in the southwest corner of the province to take on the Swift Current Broncos (5-6-1-0).

The meeting is the first of the season between the two inter-division clubs. Last season, Swift Current took the season series by winning three out of the four games. However, Prince Albert has had the upper hand over the last five years with the Raiders holding a 10-4-2-0 record over the Broncos since 2018.

Coming into tonight, the Raiders are looking to bounce back following their loss on Saturday when they fell 4-1 to the Moose Jaw Warriors. Meanwhile, the Broncos enter the contest on a high note having defeated the Regina Pats 2-1 in their last contest. Prior to that, Swift Current was out in B.C. on their annual interconference road trip where they won two out of the five games.

Following tonight’s matchup, the Raiders will come back to Prince Albert to host the Broncos on Saturday before heading to Moose Jaw on Sunday.
