In a significant step towards a brighter, healthier future for northern Saskatchewan, the Victoria Hospital Foundation proudly announces its transformation into the Boreal Healthcare Foundation. More than just a name change, this rebranding represents a renewed commitment to the communities it serves.

The Boreal Healthcare Foundation envisions a future where everyone, everywhere, has access to the healthcare they need. From the heart of northern health in Prince Albert to the most remote corners, our promise is to deliver better care, close to home, for everyone.

“The Boreal Healthcare Foundation is the result of a holistic view of healthcare in northern Saskatchewan. The healthcare system is interconnected, with the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert being the tertiary care center for the north,” says Cody Barnett, CEO of the Foundation. “To truly improve care for our northern communities, we need to address needs throughout the region and enhance care close to home for everyone.”
