The Prince Albert Raiders suffered their first home loss of the season Tuesday night at the Art Hauser Centre, losing 3-0 to the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Raiders fell behind 2-0 in the first period after Adam Jecho and John Szabo both scored for the visitors. Vojtech Port added another goal in the second period.

Oil Kings goaltender Kolby Hay was excellent, making 33 saves and earning first star honours.

With the win Edmonton improved to 3-1-0-1, while Prince Albert fell below .500 at 2-3.

The Raiders will look to bounce back this weekend in Alberta. The green and gold take on the Red Deer Rebels Friday before squaring off once again against Edmonton on Saturday.
