Man taken to hospital after assault

Prince Albert Police say a 29-year-old man assaulted on Saturday, was sent to hospital because he required immediate medical attention.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening and he was initially seen by Parkland Ambulance at a location on the 500 Block of River Street West.

The assault happened just after 5 pm.

The victim was found unresponsive and with visible injuries. Police continue to investigate.
