Province starts hunt for head marshal
The search has begun for the top cop for the new Saskatchewan Marshal’s service, to be based in Prince Albert.
The province announced on Tuesday that the hunt for the leader of the service has started.
“We are committed to finding someone with the skills and experience required to operate a successful modern police service,” said Corrections, Policing and Public Safety Minister Paul Merriman.
Whoever gets the job will have the task of developing a new service that is supposed to work with existing services, such as the RCMP and municipal forces.
