Man dead after being struck by impaired driver in West Flat

A man is dead after being struck by an impaired driver early Saturday morning.

At around 12:50 a.m., officers responded to the 800 Block of 13th St. W. where they found a deceased 26-year-old man at the scene.

As a result of the incident, the Prince Albert Police Service arrested a 24-year-old woman for impaired driving causing death and failure to stop after a collision resulting in death.

The accused will be remanded into custody and is set to make their first court appearance on Monday. Her name cannot be released until that time.
