Increased police presence in Emma Lake

Saskatchewan RCMP have said there is an increased police presence in the community of Emma Lake.

In a media release issued Monday afternoon, RCMP advised people to avoid the areas where police are present and to follow any direction provided.

According to the District of Lakeland, Highway 952 is currently closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic between Hynes Avenue and Agnes Street while officers are investigating.

No further details have been released by RCMP but any updates will be shared when they’re available.
