Couple from Crystal Springs shocked after recent lottery win

A trip to a grocery store in Prince Albert proved to be the right decision for a northeast Saskatchewan couple who won big in a recent lottery.

Gordon and Angela Harding are from Crystal Springs, a hamlet just south of Birch Hills.

They said they checked their LOTTO MAX ticket and found out they won $100,000 on the EXTRA draw.

“I was getting gas and decided to stop and check a couple tickets,” said Angela. “I texted Gordon and told him to call me ASAP!”

“I think ‘Holy Moly!’ were the first words to come out of my mouth,” added Gordon. “Then a few other words that I won’t repeat here. It was really exciting!”
