P.A. police arrest woman on Canada Wide Warrant

A Prince Albert woman wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant has been arrested and charged.

On Wednesday, Prince Albert Police arrested the woman in the 3200 block of 2nd Ave. West who was wanted for Breach of Statutory Release.

As a result of the arrest, police found a loaded sawed-off .22 rifle, ammunition, 36 grams of meth, 1.7 grams of MDMA, $115 in Canadian Currency and further evidence of drug trafficking.

The estimated street value of the methamphetamine seized is $2,500.

Ilonna May Josie, 37, has now been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking meth and several firearms offences. She made her first court appearance Thursday morning in Prince Albert.
