Man’s death being investigated as homicide

The Prince Albert Police Service is currently investigating the city’s second homicide of 2023.

On Saturday, officers responded to a call in the 300 block of 18^th Street East. They found one victim, identified as a 42-year-old man, who succumbed to his injuries. The area is said to be a known encampment. No further information was released.

Police say that there is no threat to the community as a result of this incident.

Anyone with information about the incident or video surveillance from the area are being to contact PAPS or Crime Stoppers.
