Fifth anniversary of death of Jordan Ballantyne recognized by P.A. police

It has been five years since Jordan Ballantyne was found in the backyard of a home on 20th Street East and Prince Albert Police have put out a renewed call for information.

Ballantyne was found seriously injured and pronounced deceased at the scene, near Sixth Avenue.

No suspect has been named and police are still looking for information on how Ballantyne came to be killed.

“Any information, no matter how small, could further this investigation and help to bring closure to Jordan’s family,” said PAPS in a statement.

Ballantyne’s family is also looking for answers and, as they have done annually since he died, will hold a walk, starting Thursday evening at Kinsmen Park, making its way to where he was found.
