A 37-year-old woman from Muskoday First Nation is facing a number of charges in connection to a crash west of Prince Albert late Wednesday afternoon.

One of the drivers involved, Lisa Smith, was arrested near the scene.

After failing to remain at the scene of the crash, she allegedly provided a false name to police and so has been charged with obstruction.

She’s also been charged with three counts of dangerous driving, including two for causing bodily harm.

A total of three vehicles were involved in the crash at the Crutwell turnoff.

RCMP said two people were taken to hospital but the injuries were described as non-life threatening.

Smith was allegedly behind the wheel of the vehicle that was flipped onto its roof. Multiple witnesses, driving on the highway at the time, recalled for paNOW memories of seeing the vehicle travel at a very fast rate of speed.
