The Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce has three new members on its board.

Brad Lemoal, Brittney Rosenberg, and Wayne Nogier were elected as new directors. Cody Demerais, Colette Harnett, and Tanya Tootoosis were re-elected for another two-year term. There were ten contenders running to fill six positions, with the Chamber membership casting votes electronically until June 15th. The positions will become effective at the Chamber AGM in September 2023.

“As outgoing chair of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors I want to thank the members of the board and especially the outgoing members Donna, Clay, and Bill for their service,” said Phil Hounjet, who is moving to the Past Chair position on the board.

“I know the Board members carrying on will continue to provide their guidance and expertise and bring forward the voice of the membership. It is exciting to see the number of people indicating their interest in bringing their experience and talents to the Board as new members. The Chamber is strengthened by its diversity and inclusion as it seeks to reflect our business community.”

Meanwhile, the Chamber’s CEO Patty Hughes said the new board is truly diverse and is a great representation of the local business community.

“It encompasses and represents the many sectors and members of our business community,” she said. “I look forward to working with the new and existing board members to move the community’s business interests forward.”
