Determined Kosior wants more after first stint in professional ranks
The first taste of professional hockey has left former Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Landon Kosior hungry for more.
Kosior signed a one-year two-way contract with the Iowa Wild of the AHL yesterday. The move means he gets to take what started as a tryout and turn it into a full professional season.
“I was definitely super excited,” Kosior said. “It’s been a long process for me and I’m happy, but once again there’s still lots of work to be done.”
Kosior’s first exposure to life with the Wild came from an Amateur Tryout (ATO) with the team at the end of the 2022-23 season. He did not get to skate in any games with the Wild but did get to see what life in the pros would be like.
