Muskoday man charged with second degree murder
A man from the Muskoday First Nation has been charged with second degree murder after an altercation broke out at a home on the First Nation.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday, Prince Albert RCMP responded to a call of an injured person at a home on the reserve. An investigation found that two men got into an argument outside near the home which resulted in injuries. One of the men, 27-year-old Wade Dreaver from Muskoday First Nation, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continued the investigation and arrested 24-year-old Chance Smith of Muskoday First Nation and charged him with one count of second degree murder in connection with the incident.
Smith is set to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday.
