West Flat fire under investigation

The cause of a weekend house fire in Prince Albert, remains under investigation.

On Saturday, at approximately 3:06 p.m., the Prince Albert Fire Department (PAFD) responded to the 800 block of 14th St. W. for a structure fire.

According to a statement on the PAFD Facebook page, the fire was knocked down quickly under heavy smoke conditions and contained to the upper floor.

There were substantial damages to the house, but no injuries to report.

Signs posted on the front, back and garage doors suggest whoever may have been living there, was evicted.
