Fire bans lifted by City of Prince Albert and surrounding rural municipalities
The recent precipitation is offering good news for those who have been longing to have a cook out.
The City of Prince Albert confirmed Thursday, its fire ban that was issued on May 16, would be lifted at 12 p.m.
The ban applied to all areas north of the North Saskatchewan River, including Little Red River Park.
“Residents are reminded that all recreational burning must conform to the City of Prince Albert Bylaw 15 of 2021,” the city’s statement said. “Failure to comply with this bylaw could result in a fine of $300.”
