Mintos hand out year end awards

As tradition, many sports teams host annual awards to cap off the season. With the Mintos, that tradition is no different.

On Saturday night the Prince Albert Mintos held its annual year-end awards to select players based on their on and off-ice accomplishments.

Here is a list of the winners along with the award they took home:

Darren Van Impe Rookie of the Year: Abinet Klassen, Konnor Watson, Brady Holtvogt

This past season, the Green and Gold finished seventh in the SMAAAHL with a 23-18-1-3 (W-L-OTW-OTL) record and matched up against the Regina Pat Canadians in the first round of the playoffs. Unfortunately, that series would be the end of the road for PA as they were swept in three straight games.
