The U16 Smashing Bananas have punched their ticket to Nationals, following a dominant performance this past weekend.

Provincials were held in Warman, and the bananas squad was 3-0 at the completion of their pool’s round robin.

The bananas would then go on to beat both the Jr. Sundogs and Lloyd Rustlers, before toppling the Huskie Pride in the final (25-10, 25-16).

The U15 Bananas squad will also head to nationals after winning bronze.

After going 1-2 in their respective pool, the bananas faced RVC White in the first round of the playoffs and won two straight matches.

They then fell to RVC Green before beating the Estevan Extreme in their final game.
