Temperature records fall as April cold spell lingers

It’s April 5 and Saskatchewan’s still in the grip of Jack Frost.

According to Environment Canada, several communities across the province broke temperature records Wednesday morning as wind chills dipped below -30 C.

Elbow, Kindersley, Last Mountain Lake, Leader, Lucky Lake and Rosetown rewrote the weather record book.

Rosetown recorded the coldest temperature at -25.8 C.
