Mallory’s younger sister Ella was also a part of the group and commented they are always working to improve and test themselves. She also noted that leading up to a competition season, they are balancing school work and dance, and often practicing for hours after a scheduled class is done.

“We put in a lot of work to perform our best on stage,” she said.

Alexandra Campbell received an award for promising open contemporary solo. She told paNOW she felt really good about it.

“It was an important solo to me and it was one I choreographed myself. And this is my last year I am able to compete so I’m really quite proud of myself,” she said.

Reflecting on the studio’s success as a whole, Campbell also commented everyone worked really hard.

“We all just get along so well as I think that really shows through on stage. You know, we’ve been dancing together for so many years,” she said.

Also winning awards for Performing Arts Warehouse were Reece Blanchard (hip hop solo), Elayna Greenwood (open lyrical solo 16 over), and in the duo category were Reece Blanchard and Avery Gelhorn for promising contemporary duo/ trio.
