Gathering for Survivors of the Île-à-la-Crosse Residential School

More than 300 Survivors of the Île-à-la-Crosse Residential School are gathering in Saskatoon March 24 to 26, 2023 for the Survivors Gathering at TCU Place.

The Survivors are coming together for the first time in a long time to share, support each other, and move forward in healing.

The Survivors Gathering opens Friday, March 24 with remarks from Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) President Glen McCallum, Vice President Michelle LeClair, and Île-à-la-Crosse Survivors Committee representative Duane Favel.

The three-day conference features Mental Health and Wellness Expert, Brenda Reynolds and a virtual Keynote from the Special Interlocutor for Missing Children and Unmarked Graves, Kimberly Murray.

Some sessions will be live streamed and a program is available at United4Survivors.ca.
