The Parks Canada heritage buildings are excellent venues for groups ranging from 10 to 160. The iconic Community Hall is Waskesiu’s most beautiful venue situated near the main beach of the townsite. Rich, rustic architecture and open-air surroundings allow for an effortlessly warm ambiance. Terrace Gardens Hall was recently restored to its 1930’s charm and includes hardwood floors and a stage – perfect for hosting dances and small weddings. And you won’t have to go far for catering which can be locally sourced.

Don’t wait to make your reservation. Many accommodations are accepting bookings now for spring, summer and fall. You can find all the information you need at waskesiu.org to plan your getaway.

Waskesiu is home to a wide range of businesses listed on the Waskesiu Chamber of Commerce website, including a liquor store, hair salon & spa, groceries, clothing stores, galleries, casual and fine dining, family recreation and even a movie theatre. For your events, you can rent canopy tents for a beautiful outdoor gatherings from the Chamber office and they’ll even put you in touch with a Justice of the Peace from the region. The Waskesiu Chamber of Commerce can help you with details about special permits and business licenses that may be needed for your event as well.
