Saskatchewan police respond to Edmonton officer deaths
Local police and those from further afield are responding to the deaths of two fellow officers in Edmonton Thursday morning.
Prince Albert Police Chief Jonathan Bergen said the loss of others in uniform is felt by all.
“There are no words to describe the anguish that follows this level of violence and nothing can be said to ease the sorrow that families and our police members are feeling,” he said.
PAPS has lowered their flags to half-mast to honour Constables Travis Jordan and Brett Ryan, killed while responding to a domestic dispute call in Edmonton Thursday morning.
