Third murder charge laid in Starblanket death

A third person has been charged with the homicide of Jeremy Starblanket in Prince Albert in 2021.

Prince Albert Police said that Keyano Ahenanakew, 25, is facing one count of first-degree murder.

This is the second time a first-degree murder charge was laid in Starblanket’s death this week.

Henry Ratt was arrested and charged on February 22.

Both of those arrests come after Starblanket’s body was found in a home that had exploded in the 500 Block of 5^th Street East on March 20, 2021.

Loretta Sakebow was arrested several months later and is charged with second degree murder.

Ahenakew remains in custody and will have his next court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on March 17.
