Bears snap five-game skid, blank Sharks 4-0
The Prince Albert Northern Bears were firing on all cylinders on Thursday night when they shut out the Battlefords Sharks 4-0 at the Art Hauser Centre.
The game was the first in nine days for the Bears when they were handed a double-digit loss to the Saskatoon Stars on Feb. 14.
Julia Cey earned the game’s first star for her performance, paving the way for P.A. by scoring twice. Blueliner Jacquelyne Chief had the contest’s third star by tallying three assists, while Jasmine Kohl had two helpers of her own. Tristyn Endicott and Hannah Guttormson also lit the lamp, while Kassie Ferster added an assist.
