Voters in Prince Albert’s Ward 8 will go to the polls on May 31 to vote in a new candidate.
The seat was left vacant by the resignation of long-time councillor Ted Zurakowski in January.
Polling will happen at Arthur Pechey School from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. but a one-hour polling station will be set up at Victoria Hospital and mobile poll applications will be taken until May 17.
So far, only Doug Erickson has indicated interest in running for the seat but that is anticipated to change now that the byelection has been officially called.
