Three vehicles strike moose on Highway 3 in RM of Buckland

After one vehicle collided with a moose on Highway 3 East on Friday evening, it was then struck by two other vehicles before emergency crews responded.

Buckland Fire and Rescue said that at about 08:10 pm, the first vehicle hit the moose which caused the vehicle to roll over.

After that, two other vehicles hit the dead animal.

Two trucks and eight firefighters responded to the scene but the fire department said no injuries were reported to humans.
