“It was a pretty exciting game. I was sitting on the sidelines, screaming around,” Gerard said.

Playing sports and going on team trips is beneficial for the students, he added.

“It brings up the morale. Any time you can take the students out to play any kind of sports is good,” he said.

They also travel to play the teams in the Prince Albert leagues as much as possible and go to other reserves as well.
