MOOSE JAW/ WILCOX, SK – The Prince Albert Mintos had a tough crack at it this past weekend, falling in back-to-back contests against the Moose Jaw Winmar Warriors and the Notre Dame Hounds.

The first was in Moose Jaw where the Mintos fell 5-4 in overtime.

Things started off strong for PA when they found themselves up 4-2 heading into the final frame. But a late-game collapse led to the Warriors scoring twice in the third to force extras where Ryder Knutson scored the game-winner for Moose Jaw.

Logan Pickford, Abinet Klassen, Roper Blanchard, and Kelan Simmonds each lit the lamp in the game while Pickford, Owen Dyck, Will Whitter, Konnor Watson, Carson Olsen, and Scott McLean each netted assists.

Jayden Kraus was manning the blue paint on Saturday where he stopped a whopping 46 shots in the loss.
