Three people have been either arrested or are being sought by police in connection with a series of thefts and broken vehicle windows this month.

Prince Albert Police arrested and charged a 22-year-old woman with more than a dozen crimes including wilful damage to vehicles, theft, and fraud.

She will not be named until after her first appearance on January 12 in Provincial Court.

Investigators included the patrol section, Proactive Policing and Community Policing divisions working together which allowed them to look and trends, canvas the neighbourhoods, and interview witnesses.

They also got surveillance video in order to identify the woman and two other suspects.

A 17-year-old male youth has one charge of theft under $5,000 and a warrant is out for a 26-year-old man who is looking at charges for 12 offences of damage and theft from motor vehicles.

The youth will appear in court on Friday.

Police say that since the start of December, they have had over 100 reports of mischief and theft.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
