Both Deputy Chief Farica Prince and Inspector Craig Mushka of Prince Albert have been working since earlier this year as Aides-de-Camp to Russ Mirasty, Saskatchewan’s Lieutenant Governor.

According to PAPS, the members were chosen because of their leadership and professionalism.

The added duties include helping the Governor General do his job and making sure that appropriate protocols are followed by working with event organizers.

As Deputy Chief, Prince also manages all divisions of the Prince Albert Police. She works with the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and has multiple other tasks.

Mushka has been a member of PAPS since 2001 and now oversees the service’s support service division, which includes community policing, pro-active policing, crime reduction, CSOs, traffic police, the canine units, victim services, and child protection.
