Tigers ride first period success to edge Raiders
PRINCE ALBERT, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders fought hard on Wednesday night but fell short 3-2 to the Medicine Hat Tigers at the Art Hauser Centre.
The loss is the sixth in a row for the Raiders who have yet to win in the month of December.
Despite the loss, however, head coach Jeff Truitt said that there were tons of positives to take away from the game.
“I thought that we controlled a lot of things here tonight,” he said. “They got a couple of unfortunate goals but we worked hard and the guys delivered. We were a little short on the finishing situations but overall, I’m happy with the effort. The work ethic means everything, you don’t get anything without the work ethic and I thought that they worked tonight.”
