Much of Saskatchewan under extreme cold warning
Extreme cold warnings blanketed areas across Saskatchewan on Tuesday morning.
Regions from Leader in the southwest to Wollaston Lake in the northeast were included in the warnings. Saskatoon also was under the advisory.
Environment Canada said wind chills between -40 C and -45 C were expected.
“Extreme wind chill values that are occurring will moderate later in the morning,” the advisory said. “(On) Tuesday evening, the extreme wind chill values are expected to return, and warnings will likely need to be expanded.
