Two men are facing charges after the Proactive Policing unit found multiple stolen items including a vehicle, utility trailer, snowmobile and a snowblower, the Prince Albert Police Service announced on Friday.

The PPU said it worked with the Patrol section to look over crime trends and made some connections with recent property thefts.

Between Nov. 23 and 24, officers found multiple stolen items and have charged two men in connection with the thefts.

On Nov. 23, police investigated a property in the Unit Block of 26th Street East and found a stolen trailer, a 2022 Polaris Snowmobile, and an orange fuel tank.

Stevie Ray Bannerman, age 31, is now facing three charges of possessing stolen property.

The following day, Tyson Toby, age 27, was arrested following a discovery of a stolen vehicle.

Along with two charges of possessing stolen property, Toby is charged with flight from police, breach of a release order, and two counts of breach of probation.

The Proactive Policing Unit works in collaboration with other enforcement units to address crime trends and target property crime, gang activity, and violence.
