The Prince Albert Raiders (9-13-2-0) wrap up their 3-in-3 weekend this afternoon in Medicine Hat where they’ll face off against the Tigers (8-11-4-1) for the third time this season.

The Raiders took the win in the previous meetings against the Tigers, winning 3-1 on the road back on Nov. 8, and 5-4 on Nov. 19 at the Art Hauser Centre.

Both clubs enter tonight’s contest having lost their games last night, with PA falling in Red Deer 6-1 and Calgary getting the better of Medicine Hat 5-2.

The Raiders will look to get back on track with a win tonight, while surpassing the Tigers in the Eastern Conference standings. Just one point separates the two in the standings with Med Hat sitting in ninth (21 points) and PA in tenth (20 points).

A look at the Eastern Conference standings as of Nov. 27.

Who to Watch

Keaton Sorensen scored the lone goal in last night’s loss to Red Deer, extending his point streak to five games. The goal was also the veteran forward’s team-leading 12th of the year which ties a career-high for the Red Deer, AB product.

Captain Evan Herman still sits two points shy of the 100-point club having scored six points in his last three games. The pride of The Pas, MB recorded his 50th career goal against the Hitmen back on Friday and will look to reach another milestone tonight.

Alternate captain Carson Latimer will look to continue an impressive stretch of games where he now has points in ten of his twelve games. The Surrey, BC product has netted himself five goals and eleven assists over that span and will look to build on that total this afternoon.
