MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT

Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Making Spirits Bright campaign kicks off Tuesday

Nov 15, 2022 | 10:40 AM

The season of giving has begun, and the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation has launched a campaign which will allow you to double your gift.

The foundation’s ninth annual Making Spirits Bright campaign launched today, Nov. 15. Due to the generosity of Thrive Wealth Management, your donation will be doubled as the organization is matching gifts up to $50,000.

The campaign also includes the “Little Book of BIG Gift Ideas” which is a catalogue showcasing the critical care equipment, programs and resources available at the Jim Pattison’s Children’s Hospital. Donations will go toward equipment, enhancing mobility, giving gifts to children in the hospital, and will help families with financial barriers, train medical teams to provide lifesaving care and more.

“Thrive Wealth Management is committed to supporting the vitality and health of children across the province. We are proud to support the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital’s Making Spirits Bright Campaign in raising funds for the purchase of much-needed equipment, training and programs,” Nicole Westerland, the vice president of member and community engagement, said.

“By matching donations up to $50,000 throughout the giving season this year, we hope to inspire others to join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of Saskatchewan children and families receiving care.”

“The holidays don’t stop when a child is sick or injured in the hospital,” Brynn Boback-Lane, the president and CEO of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation added. “Kids need care year-round, and when you give a thoughtful gift from the Making Spirits Bright catalogue, you are truly making a difference in the lives of children, moms-to-be, and families of this province. Thank you to Thrive Wealth Management, our foundation is very grateful for your generous matching, and giving hope for a healthier future to kids and families this holiday season.”
