Saskatoon Goldfins 45 Annual Invitational Swim Meet

Fifteen swimmers from Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club traveled to Saskatoon to participate in the Goldfins open swim meet from Nov 4th to November 6th.

Congratulations for all of our Sharks who competed this weekend in Saskatoon!

Despite off the harsh weather, Sharks shown a remarkable progress from 10 and under to all the way up. Swimmers achieved more than 8 AA times, countless A times and best personal times.

Highlight from the swim meet:
Myla: achieved 8 AA time in 50, 100, 200 and 1500 free .She came first in 50, 200 fly, second in 100 and 1500 free and third in 50 free.

Gillian: came second in 50 back and 0.87 off the AA time and 10 A times.

Zoe: came first in 50 fly, second in 50 free and 1.8 sec off the AA time. third in 50 back.

Ali: came first in 100 breast, second in 100 back and 100 free, para swimmers.

Patience: qualified to finals in 50 & 100 fly and 100 free.

Natasha: qualified to to the finals in all of her events.

Brooklyn:Came fourth in 100 free and qualified to five finals.

Maia: came fourth in 50 free and sixth in 100 free.

Brooklyn:Came fourth in 100 free and qualified to five finals.

Maia: came fourth in 50 free and sixth in 100 free.

Mikaela: quailed to final 50 back and Pb’s in all events.

Jackson M: pb’s and A times in 50 and 100 free.

Abby: qualified to finals in 50 & 100 back and 50 fly.

Head coach, Dr. Hazem Hussein, said “all of the swimmers have worked hard in training in the build-up to this year’s competition. The results they have achieved are down to their dedication and hard work.

We are pleased with our swimmers results and performance. The club offer a Variety of programmes to meet the kid’s potentials and ambitions not only on the competitive level but also on the Non-competitive level.
