Mintos, Wildcats game postponed
Tonight’s game between the Prince Albert Mintos and the Warman Wildcats has been postponed to a later date due to the ongoing snowstorm in Central Saskatchewan.
Majority of Central Sask. was placed under a winter storm warning last night and, since then, the snow hasn’t let up. The storm brings near-zero visibility with 10 to 20 cm of snow with blowing snow along with a risk of freezing rain which began early this morning.
The game was one of two back-to-back games that the Mintos were slated to play this weekend, which has since been rescheduled to a later date. As of 2 p.m. on Saturday, game two is still scheduled to be played at 1:45 p.m. versus the Saskatoon Blazers in Saskatoon.
