In a matter of days, young trick-or-treaters will be visiting houses throughout the city and some houses will be proving the ultimate treat this year.

From ghouls, witches, and skeletons on motorbikes, there is no shortage of how far people will go to decorate for Halloween.

Take for example a house on 15 Ave. East in Prince Albert. The homeowner could have been fine with a couple of pumpkins, a blowup ghost, and some lights.

But he decided to go all out.

His haunting display includes sad clowns on a mini carousel, a growling wolfman, an evil butler, and a terrifying banshee. On top of that are blow-up ghosts, skeletons, animatronic witches, and an inflatable gargoyle that can’t help but stare into your soul.

In fact, you may be familiar with the house as in the past it has been decorated like this for people to enjoy on Halloween.

Unfortunately, Dennis Adams who puts up the display said he couldn’t do it last year or in 2020 due to concerns with COVID.

As the house attracts nearly 2,000 kids a year, he felt it wasn’t safe at the time.

Now that restrictions have been lifted and more kids are expected to be out this year, it was a perfect time to bring the display out once again.

This house is just one of many on the street and the city that is being creative with its Halloween decorations this year.

What about you? Are you decorating your house for Halloween this year and what spooky displays have you conjured up?
