P.A. man dead after being hit by vehicle in early morning collision

A 67-year-old man is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Prince Albert.

Around 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning, police received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of 28 Street East and 6 Avenue East.

Parkland Ambulance also responded; however, the man was declared dead at the scene.

Residents in the 400 and 500 Blocks of 28 Street East are asked to check any surveillance video footage they may have and contact police with any potential information at 306-953-4222.

The incident remains under investigation with Prince Albert Forensic Identification Section (FIS) and an RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist helping to figure out what caused the collision.
