RCMP investigating man’s murder on The Key First Nation
The Saskatchewan RCMP is looking for answers after a 51-year-old man was murdered on The Key First Nation.
Mounties from the Kamsack detachment responded to a call Sunday at about 5 a.m., about a gun being fired in a house on the First Nation that’s located about 15 kilometres south of Norquay.
Inside the house, officers found a man who subsequently was pronounced dead by paramedics. The RCMP didn’t identify the victim, but said his family had been told of his death.
The Kamsack RCMP, Yorkton RCMP Forensic Identification Services, RCMP Historical Crimes Unit and Regina Provincial RCMP General Investigation Section all were involved the initial investigation.
