Raiders fall in Moose Jaw after late push comes up short
MOOSE JAW, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders scored twice in the final ten minutes on Friday night, but the late effort came up just short as the Moose Jaw Warriors took the game 4-3 at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
The loss is the fourth consecutive to start the season for the Raiders after falling to the Winnipeg ICE 6-2 on Wednesday night.
There were some new faces on the bench for PA tonight. Last night, a late evening trade with the Winnipeg ICE sent Vladislav Shilo to Winnipeg and brought Alessandro Segafredo and Owen Boucher to the Raiders.
PA’s Landon Kosior lit the lamp twice in the game while Terrell Goldsmith scored the opening goal for the green and black. Meanwhile Evan Herman led the assists category by netting two helpers, while Dallyn Peekeekoot, Carson Latimer, and Sloan Stanick each got one.
