National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to be recognized at P.A.’s riverfront

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday will be recognized in Prince Albert at one of the city’s most iconic Indigenous artifacts.
At the Sisters in Spirit Monument along the riverbank, there will be a community barbeque, as well as an art tent at the nearby Mann Art Gallery.
The events will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Prince Albert Urban Indigenous Coalition, along with Prince Albert Grand Council Health and other community partners, teamed up to put on the event and said they will re-affirm their commitment to the Truth and the Reconciliation Calls to Action.
