Inmate missing from Sask. Pen.

An inmate is missing from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert, initially noticed during the 11:50 a.m. count this morning.

Johnathan Jeffery Kessel, 30, is being searched for by members of the RCMP and Prince Albert Police after a warrant for his arrest was issued.

Kessel is 5-10 and weighs 194 pounds, has a fair complexion, blue eyes and brown hair.

He is serving a two-year sentence for robbery.

Anyone who knows Kessel’s location is asked to call police.

The Correctional Service of Canada said it gave police the information available to help locate Kessel and is working with police to find him as quickly as possible.
