Orano Canada donates $250K to new NICU at Victoria Hospital
A uranium company is donating $250,000 in support of the new NICU at Prince Albert’s Victoria Hospital.
Orano Canada made the announcement earlier this week, coinciding with the unit welcoming its first patients.
“The Victoria Hospital serves a large region of the province, and many of our employees travel to Prince Albert for services. We are proud to support this facility which will offer state-of-the-art healthcare for northern Saskatchewan’s newborns and their families,” said Tammy Van Lambalgen, Orano Canada Vice President & Chief Corporate Officer.
“It can be a very stressful time for any family, so we are glad that families from the north can remain closer to home while their babies receive the care they need.”
