A man charged after a break-in at a Prince Albert electronics store, where dozens of cell phones and a laptop were taken, has received a three-month jail sentence.

Austin Robillard, 22, entered a guilty plea on Sept. 12, less than two weeks after his arrest. His lone charge was break-and-enter with intent to commit theft.

According to information provided by the Prince Albert Police Service on Tuesday, the incident happened on Aug. 31, at a business in the 2800 Block of Sixth Ave. East.

The break-in occurred just before 1:30 a.m., and at approximately 5:15 p.m. on the same day. Members of the Proactive Policing Unit located the suspect, seen on video surveillance from the business, at an intersection in the city.
