Parkland Ambulance vehicles receive lighting upgrade
When called upon in the time of need, Parkland Ambulance ambulance and emergency response vehicles will be even more visible on the road.
All vehicles will now come equipped with blue, red, and white (white is required on an ambulance vehicle) emergency lights. It’s in response to the province’s Vehicle Equipment Amendment Regulations taking effect, which allows for emergency vehicles in the province to add blue lights to their emergency lighting scheme.
In a statement Lyle Karasiuk, the director of public affairs with Parkland Ambulance, showed his support for the move.
“We applaud this improvement in emergency lighting to improve the safety for all our paramedics working on Saskatchewan roadways,” he said.
